Design with a Strong User Focus
My name is Camilla, and I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in User Experience and Interactive Media Design. After over 20 years as a dedicated preschool teacher, I decided to follow my passion for interaction design and take my professional development to the next level.
I have always had a deep love for digital design, and my interested in computers and IT dates back to the internet’s early days in the late 1990s. Witnessing technology evolve - from being a niche for the most knowledgeable to becoming more accessible and appealing to everyone - has been inspiring. This motivated me to take the plunge into a field I have long been drawn to. During my bachelor’s studies in Interaction Design, I gained hands-on experience with tools like Figma, Miro, Adobe XD, Blender, Visual Studio Code, Adobe InDesign, SketchUp, and Webflow. Exploring these tools was not only incredibly rewarding but also lots of fun, as they allowed me to bring creative ideas to life and solve complex design challenges.
My background as a preschool teacher has also provided me with unique skills and experiences that are invaluable in interaction design. Working closely with children and colleagues taught me how to carefully observe and analyze human behavior, gaining insights into how people interact with their environment and interfaces. These experiences instilled me the importance of user research, usability testing, prototyping, and iteration - key tasks that I particularly enjoy and am continually striving to master.
If you are curious about my work or would like to discuss potential opportunities, feel free to email me or connect with me on LinkedIn. I’d love to share my ideas and collaborate.
