Innovative Interaction Designer - Bridging the gap between real users and technology
Hi, there! I’m Camilla Nilsson, a passionate Information and Interaction Designer, driven by empathy and user understanding. Formerly a dedicated preschool teacher, my journey into the world of Interaction Design was sparked by a lifelong love for digital innovation.
I blend my rich experience in understanding human behavior with my new knowledge in digital design tools like Figma, Blender, and Miro. My work centers on creating intuitive and engaging user experiences, backed by thorough user research and iterative design processes.
An engaging experience made in Figma
During one of my latest projects, I explored the possibilities with cultural probes and Figma to design immersive interactive experiences. Guided by user insights, I curated an engaging screen exhibition, infused by emotional design. With user testing and an iterative design cycle, I ensured a seamless and intuitive user experience, resulting in a dynamic and user-centric exhibition interface. Follow the journey from exploration to refinement, culminating in a captivating circular menu system that puts users in control.
Landing page made in Webflow
In my first-year journey as an interaction design enthusiast, I immersed myself in the enchanting world of graphic form. Here, I wove a digital tapestry - a landing page for a fictious website that emerged as my canvas for creativity. Guided by the challenge at hand, I embarked on my maiden voyage with Webflow, where each click enhanced my creative spirit, illuminating the path to a newfound understanding of the limitless artistic expression in the digital space.
3D models made in Blender
In the Design through Augmented Reality (xR) course in March 2023, I immersed myself in the 3D creation suite Blender. I learned how to create different objects and the models in this portfolio showcase my journey from a teacup to an intricated object inspired by the movie Lord of the Rings. My skills unfold in every shape and texture. Explore my artistry, discover the process, and witness how I fell in love with the magic of 3D.
“Listen to the users - they will show you the way.”
